Mersey Mould Ltd is the data controller for Viewdo. It is registered in England and Wales under company number 15630690. Its registered office is H S L Building, 437 Warrington Road, Rainhill, Prescot, England, L35 4LL.

This notice applies to visitors and registered Viewdo users. Viewdo is for people aged 18 or over. Do not create an account or provide personal information if you are under 18.

• Account information: email address, account identifier, login and account-security records.
• Profile information: username, name, biography, profile images, age range, home and preferred airports, travel styles, interests, destination preferences, group preferences and profile visibility.
• Community content: posts, photographs, videos, captions, destination tags, comments, likes, follows, shared itineraries and travel-passport entries.
• Matching and communication information: companion preferences, requests, connections, messages, read status, blocks, mutes and reports.
• Planning information: saved, borrowed and remixed trips, itinerary items, private trip notes and items you mark as booked or completed.
• Usage and technical information: interactions with Viewdo, approximate device and browser information, security logs, error information and affiliate-link clicks.
• Support and safety information: correspondence, complaints, evidence supplied with a report and actions taken to protect users or enforce our rules.

Please do not post passport numbers, payment-card details, precise home addresses, live location, health information or other highly sensitive information. Viewdo does not need that information to provide the service.

We receive information directly from you, from your use of Viewdo, from other users when they interact with or report content, and from service providers that support authentication, hosting, storage and security. Booking partners receive information directly from you when you leave Viewdo and use their services under their own privacy notices.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. We will assess objections in accordance with data-protection law. Direct-marketing objections are honoured without requiring you to give a reason.

Public profiles, posts, comments, destination tags, public itineraries and passport achievements can be seen by other people and may be shared outside Viewdo. Profile visibility settings apply where offered. Private messages, private trip notes, reports and unpublished plans are not intended to be public, but authorised staff and processors may access them where necessary to operate, secure or moderate the service.

Do not publish information about another person unless you have permission and a lawful reason to do so. Removing content limits future display but cannot retrieve copies already shared by other people.

Viewdo uses selected preferences and interactions to rank destinations, posts and potential travel companions. These suggestions are automated, but they do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. You can change your preferences, stop using matching, adjust visibility or ignore any suggestion.

We may disclose relevant information to:

• other users, according to the feature and your visibility choices;
• Supabase and other cloud hosting, database, storage, email, security and technical-service providers acting for us;
• affiliate and booking partners when you choose to follow an external link, which then process information under their own terms;
• professional advisers, insurers, auditors and prospective purchasers of the Viewdo business under appropriate confidentiality arrangements; and
• regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies and safeguarding organisations where required or reasonably necessary.

We do not sell personal information.

Some technology or booking providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where Viewdo is responsible for a restricted transfer, we use an applicable UK adequacy regulation or contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, together with any required risk assessment. External booking partners are responsible for explaining their own international transfers.

We keep account and service information while your account is active and for as long afterwards as reasonably necessary to close the account, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal duties and maintain safety. Content remains until you remove it, your account is closed, or it is removed under our rules, subject to shared copies, legal holds and provider backups.

Legal-acceptance records, safety reports, fraud records and information needed for legal claims may be retained for the applicable limitation or regulatory period. Affiliate-click and operational records are kept only while reasonably useful for attribution, accounting, security and service analysis. We periodically review whether information is still required and delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

We use access controls, Supabase authentication, row-level database security, restricted administrative access and other proportionate safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. We may update this notice as Viewdo changes. Material changes will be highlighted or presented for renewed acknowledgement where appropriate.
