Online Safety and Complaints
Use this process to report illegal or harmful content, threats, scams, harassment, unsafe companion behaviour or a moderation decision you believe is wrong.
1. Immediate danger
Viewdo is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999 or the appropriate local emergency service. Do not wait for a platform response.
2. Make a report
Use the Report control on the relevant profile or conversation where available. You can also email us directly. Include the page or profile URL, usernames involved, what happened, when it happened and why you believe it is illegal or harmful. Do not forward passwords, payment details or unnecessary intimate material.
Email a safety report3. What to report
Report content or behaviour involving:
- child sexual exploitation or abuse;
- terrorism, credible violence or serious criminal activity;
- suicide or serious self-harm encouragement;
- stalking, harassment, hate crime, trafficking or intimate-image abuse;
- fraud, impersonation, requests for money or dangerous travel scams;
- private information shared without permission; or
- unsafe conduct connected with companion matching or private messages.
4. How we respond
We triage reports according to urgency, credible risk and legal duties. We may restrict visibility, remove content, preserve evidence, warn or suspend an account, prevent contact, or refer information to law enforcement, the National Crime Agency or safeguarding bodies where required. We aim to acknowledge emailed reports within two working days, but urgent action may occur sooner and complex investigations may take longer.
We will share only the information reasonably needed to assess the report or meet legal duties. We may be unable to give a reporter confidential details about another user's account or an active investigation.
5. Complaints and appeals
To challenge content removal, an account restriction or the handling of a report, email mark@merseymould.co.uk with the decision, relevant URL or account, and your reasons. A person not responsible for the original decision will review an appeal where reasonably practicable. We may uphold, vary or reverse the decision and will explain the outcome unless doing so would create a safety, privacy or legal risk.
6. Controls available to users
Viewdo provides profile and conversation reporting, blocking, conversation muting, controlled companion requests and privacy settings where supported. Review the Community Guidelines and use the safest available setting. Blocking reduces contact but is not a substitute for emergency or police assistance.
7. Service responsibility
Mersey Mould Ltd is responsible for Viewdo online-safety compliance during beta. The accountable contact is mark@merseymould.co.uk. We maintain and review written risk assessments, moderation arrangements and incident records in line with the duties applicable to the service.
